This policy explains information collected through the Southern Star Electronics website at https://southernstarelectronics.com.
Information you provide
Our contact and quote forms collect the information you enter, which may include your name, business email, telephone number, company, equipment details, project requirements, and message. The quote form also accepts an optional supporting file. Please send only information needed for your inquiry. Do not submit passwords, payment card details, government identifiers, or files you are not authorized to share.
How inquiries are processed
Form submissions are sent to repair@southernstarelectronics.com so Southern Star Electronics can review and respond to the inquiry. Supporting quote files are attached to the notification email; the form handler removes its temporary uploaded copy after the sending attempt. Copies may remain in email systems and their backups.
Technical information and cookies
The website uses WordPress and hosting and email services to operate. Server logs may contain IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and access times. The forms use security tokens, IP-based rate limits, and duplicate-submission checks to help prevent abuse. WordPress uses cookies for administrator sign-in. The cookie controls allow you to accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies and record your preference.
Service providers and retention
Website hosting and email providers process information as part of operating the site and delivering inquiries. Inquiry information may remain in business email, server logs, and backups. To ask about retention of a particular submission or request access, correction, or deletion, contact us using the details below. Some records may need to be retained for an ongoing service request or applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Security
The site uses HTTPS to encrypt information in transit. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us before submitting particularly sensitive technical or confidential material.
